Teased during "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the lord of Apokolips did not show up during the theatrical cut of "Justice League," with his minion Steppenwolf becoming the main villain of that film. According to Snyder, Darkseid was supposed to be the central figure during the film's history lesson sequence and other scenes.
Actor Ray Porter was recently revealed as the voice behind Darkseid, talking to LightCast about how long he's had to keep the secret, and how he felt when Zack Snyder made the announcement earlier this week.
