July 5, 2018: "Mission Impossible" Director Talks "Justice League" and Henry Cavill's Mustache

While the "Justice League" movie was released back November 2017, discussions about the film continue to filter across the internet, with Henry Cavill's mustache still being an issue of contention. As every Superman fan knows by now, Henry grew the mustache for his role in the new "Mission Impossible" movie, which caused a problem when he was called upon to film reshoots for the "Justice League" movie, resulting in bad CGI.

In response to a fan's question on Twitter, "Mission Impossible: Fallout" director Christopher McQuarrie responds to the question about who was to blame for not allowing Henry to simply shave the mustache?

McQuarrie responded saying, "The short answer: We made every effort to accommodate JL without negatively impacting our movie. There was nothing we could do."

In an earlier tweet a few months ago McQuarrie explained, "Fake mustaches don't stay on at 100 mph."

The "Mission Impossible" director promises to go into further detail in an upcoming interview with Empire Magazine's podcast.

"Justice League" will have its TV premiere in the U.S. on HBO on Saturday, July 7 at 8.00pm.
