August 28, 2018: Life Size Superman Statue from Studio Oxmox
Studio Oxmox, sculptors of life size statues, have created a life size Classic Superman statue for RUBIES Costumes in the USA. The casts from serial production are located in USA and are available for sale.Shown here are images of the prototype of the Classic Superman statue.
The statue is 263cm (103.5") in height and made out of fibreglass, and will go on sale in the USA soon and are produced similar to shop dummies, so each statue is fully painted and ready to assemble. However the casts from the production of the statue are available for sale now. One cast is US$3,995.00 plus transport. Studio Oxmox can offer a special rebate for fans of the Superman Homepage of 10%. Just mention you saw the announcement on our website.
Sculptor Marc Kinner had planned to place kryptonite shards onto the base of the statue, with special green lights, but unfortunately it was too costly for serial production and this feature never made it to the final product.
Studio Oxmox have also sculpted several life size movie versions of Superman in the past, but they are only available from their production partner in Germany.
