June 26, 2018: Superman Flies on San Diego Trolley with Alex Ross Art

As we reported last week, with the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con taking place next month, the city's trolleys are getting fans ready for the event by featuring artwork from various pop culture properties.

Alex Ross has revealed that one of his paintings of Superman is featured prominently on the side of one of the trolleys, which probably looks even better when the trolley is in motion.

Ross will also be bringing a Superman piece with him to SDCC 2018. Titled "Kal-El: The Last Son of Krypton", the 16 x 20 inch fine art giclée on paper art depicts a minimalist, expressive rendering of the Man of Steel in flight.

According to SDCCblog.com, each print is elegantly presented with hand-deckled edges, and comes signed by Ross. Each piece is also hand-numbered, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. "Kal-El: The Last Son of Krypton" will be making its premiere at San Diego Comic-Con this year, through Alex Ross Art the official art dealer of Alex Ross.

Limited to just 50 pieces, and priced at US$395, you can pick it up at the Alex Ross Art booth at San Diego Comic-Con.

Alex Ross Art will offer a limited number available online starting on preview night, Wednesday, July 18. Fans interested in purchasing the piece are highly encouraged to join the waitlist on the Alex Ross Art website.
