May 23, 2018: Official Design for 2018 Superman Celebration
The Metropolis Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the official design for the 2018 Superman Celebration.Celebrating the Celebration's 40th anniversary, the graphic, created by Jon Pinto, features the Rebirth era Superman in front of the number 40, which features different images of Superman from across 80 years.
Brandon Routh from "Superman Returns", Shaun Sipos and Blake Ritson, who play Adam Strange and Brainiac respectively on Syfy's "Krypton" TV series, are this year's Featured Guests, while the five Special Guests announced are John Haymes Newton, Aaron Smolinski, Jeff East, Jack O'Halloran, and Ilya Salkind.
Set to take place across June 7-10, this year is the Celebration's 40th anniversary, and fans will not only celebrate Superman's 80th year, but will commemorate the 40th anniversary of "Superman: The Movie" as well.
