October 9, 2015: "DC Super Hero Girls" Wows New York Comic Con

NYCC Panel During a packed panel yesterday, New York Comic Con attendees received the first in-depth look at "DC Super Hero Girls", the new Super Hero universe created for girls featuring iconic DC Comics female characters including Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, and Harley Quinn. NYCC fans even joined in on the fun by putting their own DCSHG capes on and proudly displaying their excitement for the new universe that features animated content, books, toys apparel and more.

  The panel was action-packed, with many big reveals including the premiere of the second "DC Super Hero Girls" animated short from WB Animation along with a lyric video set to the DCSHG theme song "Get Your Cape On", the full line-up of Mattel's new action dolls, and a first look at the Supergirl action figure, also from Mattel. Authors Shea Fontana and Lisa Yee shared new details and artwork from the upcoming DC Comics graphic novel and Random House Children's Books middle-grade novel series.

Moderated by DC All Access host Tiffany Smith, the panel featured the creative women behind-the-scenes of "DC Super Hero Girls", including:
