July 16, 2015: Free Lectures on History of Superman at Local Libraries

Superman #1 Fans interested in learning more about the history of Superman can attend free lectures taking place at both the Middleburg Heights library (on July 20) and the North Royalton library (on July 22). Both presentations start at 7.00pm.

Thousands of comic book superheroes followed Superman, but he was the first.

Stop by and hear about how Superman has changed over nearly 80 years and surprisingly how he has remained the same. Also hear the sometimes tragic, sometimes heroic, lives of the two men who created him, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, who created Superman in the 1930s.

The Middleburg Heights library is at 15600 East Bagley Road. For more information, call 440-234-3600 or visit the library website by clicking here.

The North Royalton Library is at 5071 Wallings Road. For more information, call 440-237-3800 or visit the library website by clicking here.
