January 2, 2015: Fourth Man Dies From Superman Ecstasy Drug

Ecstasy Pills Police in the UK are investigating a fourth death in Telford, which appears to be linked to a dangerous batch of ecstasy fashioned into the shape of a Superman "S" Shield.

A 27-year-old father-of-three, who has yet to be formally identified, was found by his girlfriend at a property in Woodside Road in Ketley, on New Year's Day.

West Mercia Police said they believed his death could be the result of taking the drug, which is described as red with the Superman "S" logo.

The same type of ecstasy pills embossed with the Superman "S" shield, with a street value of around ¤1.2 million (approx. US$1.4 million), were seized by officers from Ireland's Revenue's Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs Unit in mid December.

The drugs are still thought to be in circulation and people are being strongly warned against taking them.
