June 25, 2015: First Look at "Justice League: Gods and Monsters" Prelude Variant Covers
In their July and August solicitations, DC Comics revealed details on the upcoming "Justice League: Gods & Monsters" comic books, which tie in to the upcoming new animated feature of the same title.Yahoo! News has a first look at the artwork for variant covers for these prelude comic books, including art by Darwyn Cooke and Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez...
- Set in a dystopic alternate universe, "Justice League: Gods & Monsters" is a new animated feature from DC and Warner Bros. coming to DVD/Blu-ray on July 28. In the the run-up to its release, DC will publish a daily digital-first prelude series July 1-18 via all major platforms. When those issues are later collected into print, they will feature some sweet covers and variants, including a trio by renowned artist Darwyn Cooke.
