May 4, 2014: "Young Justice" Nominated for Daytime Emmy Award

Young Justice Invasion The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) recently announced the nominees for the 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards, with the "Young Justice" animated series receiving a nomination in the "Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing - Animation" category.

The Daytime Emmy® Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during the 2013 calendar year. This year's gala will be held the prestigious Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on Sunday, June 22, 2014.

The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards gala, which honors the crafts behind the many shows that grace the Daytime genre, will be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday, June 20, 2014.

Re-Recording Mixer Carlos Sanches was nominated for his work on "Young Justice", and will go up against fellow nominees in "Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness" (Thomas J Maydeck C.A.S. & Rob McIntyre, "Monsters Vs Aliens" (Fil Brown & Melissa Ellis), "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" (Cameron Davis, David Acord, Frank Rinella & Mark Evans), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (DJ Lynch & Jeff Shiffman), "Turbo FAST" (Konrad Piñon).
