October 20, 2014: Flying Man Spotted by Plane Pilots and Passengers
You will believe a man can fly! Well, pilots and passengers on board an Airbus 320 plane from the UK certainly believe they saw a flying man.
- An Airbus 320 in the UK narrowly missed what passengers and crew say resembled a flying person, who appeared to be suspended in the air with no visible means of support.
The flight was coming in to Manchester Airport when pilots spotted the man. They checked for reports of skydivers, parachuters or gliders in the area, and found none.
According to a report from the body that investigates near-misses in UK aviation, the crew didn't get a long look at the "flying man".
"They first sighted the object a few hundred metres in the 11 o'clock position 200 to 300ft above," the report stated.
"It passed down the left-hand side of the aircraft at 100 to 200m.
