September 4, 2013: Female Casting Auditions for Superman/Batman Movie

As a Superman fan site, it's getting difficult to draw a line on what parts of the upcoming Superman/Batman movie we should report on, especially when most of the news and rumors seem to mainly focus on Batman aspects of the film.

For example, today Latino-Review.com reports that director Zack Snyder is currently looking to cast the role of Batman's love interest in the film.

"They're looking for someone in their late 20s and are open to all ethnicities."

"An actress who is both tall and possesses physicality."

Apparently this information comes from a casting breakdown that was sent around to various talent agencies.

How they know it's for the role of Batman's love interest is anyone's guess, since the same report also states that for movies like this "actors have no clue what they are reading for when they go audition". The female role could be Cat Grant, Wonder Woman, Amanda Waller, or any other tall woman you might expect to see in a Superman/Batman movie.

Additionally, the concept art [shown right] by Stephen B Scott has been floating around. It's unsure if this is just something he's created for his own benefit, some other project, or the movie itself.
