June 23, 2013: "Train Girl" Madison Moran on Being in "Man of Steel"

Train Girl Madison Moran is the 13-year-old girl who will forever be known as "Train Girl" to her friends for her appearance in a scene in "Man of Steel".

"We told everybody from the get-go, 'You never know. She went and filmed it. We don't know if she's going to be even in it.'"

The big moment comes at the climax of the action adventure.

Madison appears in a scene as part of a family of four - parents and one brother - in a train station. The movie set for the big finish was inside Chicago's historic Union Station.

The riveting sequence lasts about a minute. Madison doesn't have any speaking lines. Instead, she resorts to a lot of "yelling and screaming" in a scene that includes Superman and Shannon as villain General Zod.

"It's the major scene of the whole movie. That's really cool," Brooke said. "Her dad's chair was like soaking wet when he got up (afterward). He was so nervous."

When the credits roll at the end of "Man of Steel," the name Madison Moran appears with her character name of "Train Girl" - not far down the list from the major-league likes of Cavill, Crowe, Adams, Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne.
