May 2, 2013: LEGO "Man of Steel" Playsets

LEGO.com has updated their website to reflect the release of the three LEGO "Man of Steel" playsets, along with images of minifigures and build instructions.

Superman: Metropolis Showdown (76002)
General Zod is wreaking havoc in a downtown Metropolis Showdown against Superman. Stop General Zod from trapping Superman under the collapsing antenna tower by blocking it with the cool yellow car. Battle and reenact this epic final scene as you take Superman up the tower, flip him through the air with the catapult function and swing him on the antenna. Includes 2 minifigures: Superman and General Zod.

Superman: Battle of Smallville (76003)
Help Superman stop the Kryptonians from taking over the town in the Battle of Smallville! General Zod, Faora and Tor-An are attacking with the Black Zero Dropship with adjustable wings, big rotating underside cannon, giant dual shooters, opening cockpit, storage bays and weapon rack! Team up Superman with Colonel Hardy in his offroader with dual flick-missile cannon with rotating base and stop the Kryptonians! Superman: Black Zero Escape (76009)
Free Lois from General Zod's clutches in a Black Zero Escape mission! Sneak Lois into the Black Zero ship's escape pod with opening cockpit and moveable engine boosters. When General Zod takes aim with his dual flick missiles, fly to the rescue with Superman and protect Lois! Get her back to Earth safely, then teach General Zod a lesson!
