March 14, 2008: Excellent Sales for “Justice League: The New Frontier”
WorldsFinestOnline.com reports that "Justice League: The New Frontier" premiered in the #10 slot for DVD sales ending the week of March 2nd, 2008.
- According to various home media retailing outlets, including thenumbers.com, Justice League: The New Frontier had to battle off a host of new and Oscar-fueled releases this week, but it still made a respectable showing at the #10 slot for the week. The title sold an estimated 136,000 copies in its first week.
Also, Justice League: The New Frontier premiered in the #5 slot in Hi-Def DVD sales, thanks to a strong showing from the movie's Blu-Ray release.
Videobusiness.com also corrected the spot for the regular DVD version of the DTV (I guess it means both the single and two-disc versions) for the sales ending March 1st. On the corrected sales chart; the regular DVD version was #14 and not #10 as thenumbers.com reported.
