July 2, 2008: The Other Building Where Superman Was Created

In recent years much has been written about the efforts to restore the building where Jerry Siegel lived when creating Superman in the 1930s. The house in Cleveland, Ohio is now a designated landmark and a monument to its relevance in the creation of the Man of Steel is planned.

However Superman was created by two young men, the other being Joe Shuster. So what of Joe's home, where Jerry Siegel ran to after dreaming up the idea for Superman? What of the place where Superman was first drawn? Marc Nobleman, author of the up-coming "Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman" illustrated book, has uncovered some fascinating research, and has found photos of the place where Joe Shuster lived.

Visit Marc's blogspot page to see photos and read about his exhaustive research efforts.
