DC Tumbler

June 28, 2008: Exclusive DC Cartoon Tumbler available at Wizard World Chicago

Wizard World Chicago exclusive 'Toon Tumbler featuring Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman

All comic book conventions have exciting features that keep fans coming back for more. Signings with celebrities, opportunities to meet industry heroes, sales of impressive collectibles and books, and con exclusives make each event unique and special. Adding to the continuity of these events, PopFun Merchandising and Wizard World Chicago have announced a show exclusive for this weekend's convention.

PopFun and Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Comics are collaborating to make DC Comics 'Toon Tumblers. To celebrate this exciting deal, the first exclusive DC release will feature their superhero icons Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, and will be available at Wizard World Chicago. "We're thrilled to finally be able to feature some of the most recognizable pop culture properties in the world on our 'Toon Tumblers," PopFun president Paul Merolle stated. "There's such a wealth of DC Comics imagery from the past 70 years to explore and have fun with. Mostly, we're excited to be able to offer DC Comics 'Toon Tumblers to the fans and collectors who have been asking for them for the past three years."

The exclusive piece of convention memorabilia will be on sale all weekend at booth #2325. DC 'Toon Tumbler regular releases will begin during the summer, tentatively consisting of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Joker, Sgt. Rock, and Firestorm. Over the next year, numerous other sets will be released.

'Toon Tumblers display classic comic and animated characters on pint glasses of high quality material. They can be found at select retailers and comic book shops or in Diamond Comic Distributor's Previews and at the PopFun website.
