September 20, 2007: Alan Burnett Talks Superman on “The Batman”
JusticeLeagueOnFilm.com has posted an audio interview with Alan Burnett, Supervising Producer and Story Editor on "The Batman" cartoon, in which he discusses the Season 5 premiere which sees a special appearance by Superman.
- As fans of The Batman discovered last season, the Dark Knight encountered the Justice League - albeit briefly - and this season (likely the show's last) will have him interacting with various members of the team, beginning with Superman in the September 22nd premiere. Other heroes will follow, culminating in a Justice League adventure at the end of the season. In this interview, supervising producer/story editor Alan Burnett previews the new season and details the show's connection to the Justice League.
"The Batman" premieres September 22 at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT as part of the Kids' WB! lineup on The CW network. Entitled "The Batman/Superman Story," the two-part season premiere (the finale airing on Sept. 29) finds Lex Luthor joining forces with Gotham City's rogues gallery to finally defeat the Man of Steel -- but he doesn't count on Batman and Robin coming to the rescue.
