Victoria Hill

September 25, 2007: Auditioning for Wonder Woman in “Justice League” Movie

MovieHole.net reports that Australian actress Victoria Hill recently read for the role of Wonder Woman in the up-coming Justice League movie...

Actress Victoria Hill is hoping to don some iconic tights. The starlet, currently seen in the Village Roadshow release "December Boys", has tested for the role of Wonder Woman.

Now that doesn't mean she's in the running or a contender - you'd have to be a fly on the wall in the casting director's office to get wind of how she went, obviously - but she did read for the Amazonian princess.

Update: While on the subject of Wonder Woman, Entertainment Weekly just posted a report claiming that Jessica Biel may be in the running to play the Amazonian princess...

Industry sources say that the former 7th Heaven teen star may wield the Lasso of Truth in an upcoming film version of Justice League of America, and Hollywood was buzzing about the potential casting news on Monday. (Biel's reps say that it's way too early to know if a deal will happen; Warner Bros. won't confirm.)

Meanwhile, DarkHorizons.com reports that notices went out this past week to casting agencies searching "for the 8-9 leads for this action feature film".

"We are looking for Male actors 18-35 years old; Caucasian and Black. The primary focus should be to find Caucasian actors. There is 1 role for the Black Actor. We are looking for Female actors 20-32 years old; any ethnicity."

The Superman Homepage can reveal that the male age was later extended to 18-40.
