August 5, 2007: Michael Dougherty Comments on Superman Movie
You'll recall that back in May we reported that Dan Harris (speaking from the 2007 Saturn Awards) made the comment regarding the "Superman Returns" sequel that "Superman is only as good as his villans", with an emphasis on the pluralization.This week, his fellow screenwriter, Michael Dougherty ran into a Superman fan at the U.S. Capitol who asked him how work was going on the new movie. This is what the fan posted on BlueTights.net...
- He said that they were on track and that the goal is still to have the movie out in the Summer of 2009. He seemed a little hesitant about it but did his best to try and reassure that it will get done by then. I asked if he could give any more info on the film. He responded, "There are TWO villains," and he smiled.
