November 17, 2006: “Action Comics #844” Gets Second Printing
DC Comics announced yesterday that Action Comics #844 is being rushed back to press for a second printing. This issue features the debut of the new creative team of writers Geoff Johns and Richard Donner and artist Adam Kubert.The second printing of Action Comics #844 features a recolored version of the original cover by Kubert and is scheduled to arrive in stores on December 6th.
"It's been an absolute honor to be a part of Action Comics with Dick, Adam, (colorist) Dave Stewart, (letterer) Rob Leigh, (editor) Matt Idelson and (associate editor) Nachie Castro," Johns said. "I'm incredibly proud of the work we're all doing and thankful for the retailers and readers giving our run on Action a go."
DC is offering retailers one copy of the Action Comics #844 Variant Edition, featuring a cover by Andy Kubert, for every 10 copies of the Action Comics #844 Second Printing (ordered through November 26).
