February 25, 2006: Superman Comics Info From New York Comic-Con
The following details were reported by Newsarama in regards to Superman related comics information to come out of the DC discussion panels at the New York Comic-Con this weekend...
- Asked if the DCU's Superman stories will emulate or follow any of the elements from the upcoming film, Didio said that no, DC's Superman will continue in his own continuity.
When asked about outer space Superman stories, Didio said that a story will be coming soon in All-Star Superman.
Adam Kubert is giving his own take on the Superman costume in his upcoming Action Comics run. He might be somewhat influenced by the movie, but he isn't trying to draw it like the movie version.
Adam and Andy Kubert were asked about their feelings on joining the DC team. Adam said that he is extremely excited to be working on Superman, commenting that, "It feels great, its fun, the guys that I'm working with - it's just an amazing thing."
Andy added: "It doesn't even feel like a job...you sit down and sketch.... it's really cool"
