October 15, 2005: Bryan Singer to Appear at Christopher Reeve Lecture Series

Be a part of a special evening that marks the debut of the Christopher Reeve Lecture Series and the dedication of the Christopher Reeve Theater and Dramatic Arts Collection.

Bryan Singer, who is directing the June 2006 release Superman Returns, will be the inaugural speaker of the lecture series, co-sponsored by the library and the Friends of the Library.

Singer will introduce a clip from the new Superman film and take questions and comments from the audience in a session moderated by former Princeton Borough Mayor Marvin Reed, a close family friend. A reception in the Open Book Cafe will follow the talk.

The evening's events are presented in appreciation of the donors to the lecture series and the collection.

Friday, Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m.

Free tickets for this event will be available beginning Tuesday, Nov. 1 in person at the library's first floor Welcome Desk, or by calling 609.924.9529, ext. 220. Priority will be given to Princeton Public Library cardholders; all others will be placed on a waiting list and notified if there is space on the day of the program. A maximum of two tickets per cardholder will be distributed. Those who cannot be seated in the Community Room are invited to watch a closed circuit broadcast of the event on screens throughout the library.
