February 2, 2005: EA Games Advertises Positions Vacant for Superman Game

It has been more than a year since Warner Bros. announced that Electronic Arts (EA Games) had been awarded the worldwide interactive rights to develop, publish and distribute computer and video games based on Superman.

Under the multiyear agreement, EA will publish games based on the upcoming Superman feature film from Warner Bros. Pictures as well as any subsequent Superman films distributed during the term of the agreement. Beginning back in 2004, the license grants EA the rights to develop game titles for all current and next generation video game consoles, handhelds and the PC. In addition, EA has the rights to produce games based on Superman comics and animated television programs.

EA Games are now making moves on creating their first Superman video game. The Tiburon.com website has posted a "Super Heroes Wanted" page looking for people to work on the production of a Superman video game in the positions of Executive Producer, Sr Producer, Producer, Game Designers, Level Designers, Software Engineers, Technical Directors, Art Directors, Interface Designers, Modelers, Texture Painters, and Character Animators.

All enquiries regarding these positions can be directed to manofsteel@tiburon.com or by visiting the Tiburon.com website.
