July 17, 2005: DCU Panel at San Diego Comic Con
The Pulse website have posted a report on the DC Universe panel at the San Diego Comic Con. The panel consisted of Bob Wayne, Judd Winick, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Ian Churchill, Marc Andreyko, Andy Kubert, Adam Kubert, Dan Didio, Phil Jimenez, Bill Willingham, Matt Wagner, Dave Gibbons, Andersen Gabrych, Darwyn Cooke, Amanda Conner, Mark Waid, Steve Wacker, and Jimmy Palmiotti.
Here are some of the Superman related announcements made...
- "Supergirl #1 establishes the differences between her and Power Girl. Issue #2 deals with her relationship with the Teen Titans whether or not there will be one. Issue #3 features the Outsiders. By the end of issue #6 any connections she might have with previous Supergirls SHOULD BE clarified," said Loeb.
Superman/Batman there was a cover with Superwoman, Batwoman, and Superlad. issue #26 is plotted by Jeph Loeb's son, Sam. It was Sam's last work before his untimely death.
