The Torch
In this month's edition of The Torch we reflect on the death of Superman and Dr. Swann actor Christopher Reeve, and hear from some of the Superman and Smallville actors whose lives he touched. We have news of Smallville returnees and find out what the cast and crew have been doing away from the set!

No Ordinary Kansas Farmboy!
Smallville Magazine caught up with Tom Welling on a break from filming to find out how season four is shaping up. Tom discusses his portrayal of the young Clark Kent, reflects on his body swap with John Glover (Lionel Luthor) in the season four episode Transference, discusses the changing relationships this season, and the developments that the addition of Lois Lane (Erica Durance) and Jensen Ackles (Jason Teague) have allowed.

Mack's Back!
After a dramatic third season, Chloe miraculously survived the explosive season three finale, and this month we're chatting to actress Allison Mack! Allison tells us how she's grateful for the challenges that the writers have created for Chloe, recalls her enjoyment at playing the freak of the week in the season three episode Truth, and discusses the evolution of The Chloe Chronicles. Plus, she reveals what she'd like to see Chloe achieve in the New Year!

It had to be Three!
For all concerned, Smallville's third season was dramatic, taut, and at times traumatic. From Clark's red kryptonite fuelled rampage in Metropolis to Jonathan's Jor-El-induced heart attack, Chloe being blown up to Lex being confined in an asylum, driven mad by his father, Lionel, Smallville's executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar discuss the impact of the third season and the implications that it has for the future of the show.

Christopher Reeve Remembered
Smallville Magazine editor Richard Matthews looks back at the career of the man who convinced audiences around the world that he really could fly, and pays tribute to the iconic Superman actor. Plus, actors Tom Welling and John Glover recall their experiences of working with Reeve on the Smallville episode Legacy.

Plus...
We look at the mythology surrounding Clark Kent.
