January 14, 2004: Does Clark Kent have a Brother on “Smallville”?
Actually, no. An actor who looks very similar to Tom Welling does have a six-episode stint, starting tonight, on the hit TV show however.Ian Somerhalder, the star of Rules of Attraction and Life as a House appears in "Smallville" as the mysterious new boy in Lana Lang's life.
Fans have wondered whether Tom and Ian's characters are long-lost brothers?
"Everyone thought that," the 25-year-old told TV Guide Online. "That's kind of what went through my mind as well. Our faces are pretty incredibly similar. People were freaking out about it because Superman doesn't have a brother! But no, we're not related."
