October 27, 2003: Smallville - Season 3, Episode 5 - “Perry”
The WB has made available the following description for the 5th episode of Season 3 of "Smallville". Titled "Perry", this episode is due to air in the U.S. on Wednesday October 29th at 8pm. Here's the official description from the WB...
- Perry White (guest star Michael McKean, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show), a once-promising journalist whose career was destroyed by Lionel Luthor (John Glover), arrives in Smallville in search of alien stories for a tabloid news show. In spite of being constantly inebriated, Perry believes he has witnessed Clark (Tom Welling) using his extraordinary speed, so he devises a dangerous scheme to expose Clark's superpowers. Meanwhile, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) learns that Perry has powerful incriminating evidence of Lionel's shady past.
Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack, Sam Jones III, Annette O'Toole and John Schneider also star. Jeannot Szwarc directed the episode written by Mark Verheiden.

- The future Daily Planet editor-in-chief Perry White (Michael McKean), who's working as a tabloid TV reporter researching meteor phenomena, suspects Clark has super abilities after he's rescued by the teen. Meanwhile, Clark has trouble controlling his powers.
