The WB's Allison Mack Unveils Personal Weblog To Show Teens How Fun, Easy It Is To Get Digital Pictures from New Film Camera.

With the Introduction of the new Kodak Plus Digital One-Time-Use Camera, Kodak, The WB Television Network announce national availability of Bonus CD with Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes "Sneak Peak" at Network's Fall Season Lineup.

Eastman Kodak Company today announces its partnership with The WB Television Network and "Smallville" star, Allison Mack, in an integrated promotional campaign offering teens easy access to the benefits of digital photography with the Kodak Plus Digital one-time-use camera system. As part of the campaign, Mack is launching a personal weblog that features exclusive photos taken with the Kodak Plus Digital one-time-use camera. Plus Digital cameras give teens a fun and inexpensive way to get digital pictures without a digital camera. And beginning today, consumers will receive a Bonus CD highlighting exclusive content from The WB's new fall season lineup when they pick up their Kodak Plus Digital camera prints.

More on Allison Mack's Weblog: According to Forrester Research, Inc., approximately 23 percent of youth ages 13-22 are publishing or updating Web pages weekly. Also, according to a survey conducted for Kodak by Alloy.com, more than 70 percent of teens would like to be able to get digital pictures without having to purchase a digital camera. To this end, one unique component of The WB and Kodak partnership includes a weblog, or "blog," created by Mack.

Mack uses Kodak Plus Digital one-time-use cameras to give fans a backstage view into her life through this online journal, which is complete with commentary and exclusive pictures of her personal and professional life. Mack's weblog also provides teen visitors with tips on how to take great pictures and how to use photography to create their own blogs.

"Photography is such a huge part of my life as an actress and at home," said Allison Mack. "I'm excited to show teens how they can use a film camera to get digital pictures that help them share their memories and experiences through personal blogs. Kodak Plus Digital cameras are a very cool way for teens to get access to digital images, and the bonus CD is awesome for getting access to sneak-peeks into their favorite shows."

The WB Bonus CD: From Aug. 4-Sept. 15, or while supplies last, Kodak will give teens and their families a Bonus CD featuring content from The WB Television Network when they process their Kodak Plus Digital one-time-use cameras. The Bonus CD will consist of previews from the network's new fall season lineup, as well as screen savers, exclusive photos, trivia quizzes, music and Photo Show, a fun new software program that lets consumers do more with their digital images.

"Our partnership with Kodak has provided a great platform to promote our new fall season to a very important teen and young adult audience," said Sonia Borris, Vice President of Integrated Marketing, The WB Television Network. "The Bonus CD contains samples of exclusive content like Fall show previews, photography and music, which will be exciting for new and existing fans of The WB."

Sweepstakes: In addition to the Allison Mack weblog and The WB Bonus CD, teens using the Kodak Plus Digital camera from Aug. 4-Oct. 31, 2003 will have the opportunity to enter an online sweepstakes for a chance to win a grand-prize trip for four to visit the set of a show on The WB Network and chronicle their day on the set with a Kodak Plus Digital one-time-use camera. One hundred second-place prizes will be awarded, including WB T-shirts and Kodak Plus Digital one-time-use cameras.
