April 21, 2003: Superman on “Static Shock”
The Kids WB! has announced that Superman will make his guest-appearance on Static Shock in the episode title "Toys In The Hood", which will air on May 3rd, 2003.Superman will appear has he did in the classic Superman: The Animated Series, not his Justice League design.
Here is the official description for this episode:
Episode #39 - Toys in the Hood
"Static teams up with Superman when the Man of Steel's old nemesis, Toyman, arrives in Dakota on a kidnapping scheme."
The episode, written by Paul Dini, will feature the return of Toyman, as well as Darci Mason. Both characters were last seen in the Superman episode "Obsession", which featured Mason leaving Metropolis at the end of the episode. Her story picks up in Dakota, where she is reportedly a teacher at Static's school. Toyman discovers this and tries to get her back.
