WITH ONE DAY REMAINING IN THE SWEEP, THE WB IS SCORING ITS BEST FEBRUARY EVER IN ADULTS 18-34, MEN 18-34, MEN 18-49 AND EQUALING ITS BEST-EVER IN ADULTS 18-49 AND IS UP ACROSS-THE-BOARD YEAR-TO-YEAR, INCLUDING +35% IN ADULTS 18-34 & +21% IN TOTAL VIEWERS

BURBANK, CA (February 26, 2003) - The WB Network and Warner Bros. Television combined for another sensational Tuesday as SMALLVILLE and GILMORE GIRLS, both produced by Warner Bros. Television, continue to excel.

SMALLVILLE, which featured an appearance by legendary big-screen Superman Christopher Reeve and answered many questions of the Superman mythology, placed #2 in its time period in adults 18-34 (5.3/14), persons 12-34 (5.0/13), women 18-34 (5.2/13), men 18-34 (5.3/15), women 12-34 (5.0/13), men 12-34 (5.1/14) and men 18-49 (4.3/10).

The super drama, which is also from Tollin/Robbins Productions, was also #1 in teens (4.3/12) and female teens (4.2/12) and #3 in adults 18-49 (4.2/10). SMALLVILLE paced ahead of the episode that aired the parallel week a year ago across the 18-34, 12-34 and 18-49 demos, including +66% in adults 18-34, +43% in persons 12-34, +40% in adults 18-49 and +26% in total viewers (8.7 million), its highest total since the first week of the November sweep.

Entering the final day of the sweep, The WB is enjoying AN ALL-TIME RECORD FEBRUARY EVER IN ADULTS 18-34 (2.3/6), MEN 18-34 (1.7/5), MEN 18-49 (1.5/4) and is equaling its best performance in adults 18-49 (2.0/5). The WB is pacing ahead of last February in all key demos. The network is up +35% in adults 18-34 (2.3/6), +21% in persons 12-34 (2.3/7), +27% in women 18-34 (2.8/7), +42% in men 18-34 (1.7/5), which is the largest percentage up-tick on television, +20% in women 12-34 (3.0/8), +31% in men 12-34 (1.7/5), +25% in adults 18-49 (2.0/5), +20% in women 18-49 (2.4/6), +25% in men 18-49 (1.5/4) and +21% in total viewers (2.8/4).
