Superman Watch

November 25, 2003: Fossil Release New Superman “Phone Booth” Watch

Fossil have just released a fantastic new Superman collectors watch... The Superman Phone Booth watch.

The first thing noticable about this new watch is the packaging it comes in. Sporting a myriad of classic Golden Age Superman comic strip images with the familiar "S" shield on top, the cardboard box opens to reveal a rustic-looking metal tin in the shape of a classic phone booth.

The Phone Booth tin sports images of Clark Kent ripping open his shirt and Superman fully revealed within the four panels of the Phone Booth, aswell as "Action Comics" and "Daily Planet" headlines.

Unpacking the foam within reveals one of the best Superman watches I've seen. The unique wrist-wrap genuine leather band is the first thing to catch your eye. The face of the watch reveals Superman in the classic "breaking chains" pose (it appears to be a Curt Swan image), with "MAN OF STEEL" arcing along the bottom curve.

Of note are the black debossed numerals around the silver rim, of which the number 12 is replaced by the Superman "S" shield.

Limited to only 2000, the Superman "Phone Booth" watch comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is available from Fossil's website for US$95.00.

All previous Fossil Superman watches have sold out fast. So be quick... This is not a watch you'll want to miss out on. Would make a fantastic Christmas gift. Order yours today!
