March 20, 2003: DC Direct Superman Action Figures Sold Out!
Only days after reaching stores on March 12, both the SUPERMAN ACTION FIGURE and the SUPERMAN: BIZARRO ACTION FIGURE have sold out at DC!In addition, only a limited quantity of SUPERMAN: BRAINIAC ACTION FIGURE is still available for reorders.
"We knew that pent-up demand for DC Direct Superman action figures was high," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP Sales & Marketing. "Clearly, interest built even further as retailers and consumers saw them in solicitation and in the trade press."
The following items from the second wave of SUPERMAN ACTION FIGURES are now available for advance reorder, and are scheduled to be in stores on June 4:

- SUPERMAN: DOOMSDAY ACTION FIGURE
