July 29, 2003: DC Confirms Changes to Superman Titles

More information to be revealed at WizardWorld Chicago.

As seen at WizardUniverse.com and in Wizard #0, DC Comics confirms that writer Brian Azzarello and penciller Jim Lee will be the new creative team on SUPERMAN. Also as seen in Wizard #0, DC announces that Chuck Austen and Greg Rucka will be the new writers of ACTION COMICS and ADVENTURE COMICS respectively. These changes are scheduled to take effect in March.

On Friday, August 8, DC Comics will expand on this information at the WizardWorld Chicago SUPERMAN: THE PANEL OF TOMORROW. The panel, which is scheduled from 2-3 pm, will include DC's VP Editorial Dan DiDio, Group Editor Eddie Berganza, writer Brian Azzarello, penciller Jim Lee and more.

"What people read in Wizard #0 is just the tip of the iceberg," says DiDio. "We still have a lot of tricks up our sleeve, and you'll hear about them in Chicago."
