Entertainment Weekly has put together a detailed article on the history of Superman-related Super-Teenagers, starting with Clark Kent in "Smallville", Supergirl from the movie starring Helen Slater, Jeff East as Clark Kent in "Superman: The Movie", and finally Superboy (with Krypto) from the 1960s "The Adventures of Superboy" cartoons (a part of Filmation's "The New Adventures of Superman" cartoon series).Here is a small excerpt from the article, titled "From Zeros to Heroes" written by Dalton Ross...
"Being a superpowered teen may sound like a sweet deal, but it involves the same dramas and traumas that regular high schoolers deal with every day. The WB's "Smallville" (Tuesdays at 9pm) is the latest to follow the growing pains of a young Clark Kent, but how does the new Boy of Steel stack up to previous adolescent keepers of the cape?
