August 21, 2001: More "Smallville" Photos and Episode Information
Below are 3 new "Smallville" pictures I've managed to get a hold of. The first is a picture of John Glover as Lionel Luthor (Lex's father), the second is Sarah-Jane Redmond as Nell Lang (Lana's Aunt) and the third is a picture of Adrian McMorran who plays the role of Jeremy Creek the pilot episode's "victim come villain".

In other "Smallville" news, KryptonSite has some inside information on the 2 episodes following the initial pilot episode. The 2nd episode of the first season of "Smallville" is to be called "Metamorphosis" and takes place very soon after the pilot. It reportedly will feature the first meetings of several of the characters who didn't get a chance to interact in the first episode. The antogonist for this episode will be a nerdish bug collector who has a crush on Lana, but may have more in common with the bugs he collects than one would expect. The 3rd episode is tentatively titled "Jitters" and centers around Earl Jenkins, an old friend of the Kents, who comes to Smallville seeking help. Earl was a farm hand on the Kents' farm for several years before taking a job as a janitor at LuthorCorp in Metropolis. While there he came across an experiment where corn was sprayed with a fertilizer that, when mice would eat the corn, they'd get shaky and jittery. Now Earl has this affliction and he wants to get to a possibly-fictional "Level Three" of Luthor's fertilizer plant to find a cure for his "jitters". The kids' science class takes a tour of the Smallville LuthorCorp fertilizer plant in this episode, where we meet Chloe's father Gabe, who runs the plant and tells embarrassingly bad jokes that humiliate Chloe.
