August 7, 2001: Cynthia Ettinger Cut From "Smallville" Altogether
According to KryptonSite, Annette O'Toole will be re-shooting all the "Martha Kent" scenes from the pilot episode of "Smallville" which originally starred Cynthia Ettinger in the role. Annette O'Toole, who many fans will know as Lana Lang from "Superman III", took over the role which Cynthia Ettinger was originally cast for.In other "Smallville" news from the KryptonSite website, the second episode of the series will be titled "Metamorphosis," and will begin shooting next week. The episode is written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and is directed by David Nutter.
