July 16, 2001: Justice League Animated Series Update
Cartoon Network has announced that the Justice League animated series will premiere with a 90-minute episode on Saturday, November 17th, before moving into its regular time period on Mondays.The weekly show starts November 19th at 8:30pm (ET/PT). Repeats of Monday episodes will be shown Fridays at 7:30pm (ET/PT) and Sundays at 8:30pm (ET/PT).
While each episode will be 30 minutes in length, the stories will be 2 or 3-parters. The network noted that the times are subject to change.
Production of Justice League continues on course to meet the premiere date. Cartoon Network is expected to show some footage of the show at the San Diego Comic-Con International this coming Saturday.
