March 26, 2001: "Smallville" has its Lionel Luthor
Thanks to my inside source, Chloe, I can announce that John Glover (Brimstone, Batman & Robin) has been cast as Lionel Luthor, Lex's father in the up-coming TV series "Smallville". Glover played the Devil to great acclaim in the Warner Bros. TV series "Brimstone", and won the 1995 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for his role in "Love! Valour! Compassion!"
