July 19, 2001: Animated Justice League Merchandise
According to The Comics Continuum, DC Direct will be releasing a line of maquettes based on the upcoming Justice League animated series on Cartoon Network.Wonder Woman will be the first character featured in the series of seven, with each costing US$89.95.
Others in the series will include Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Batman, Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter. They are the members of the Justice League for the animated series.
It remains unclear if Hasbro will be producing the Justice League animated figures.
"There will be figures, but it's up in the air," Georg Brewer, DC's design director, told The Continuum. "It won't be in time with the release of the show, but somebody will be doing them."
