September 4, 2001: Superman Comics Sales Up 20%
According to the latest issue of Wizard magazine (October 2001 issue #121), sales on the four Superman books are way up, mostly thanks to the "Our Worlds At War" storyline. Sales on the "Superman" title (written by Jeph Loeb and pencilled by Ed McGuinness) rose 20% back in June and have maintained that level ever since.
Congratulations to Eddie Berganza, Jeph Loeb, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Mark Schultz and the rest of the Superman creative team on getting Superman back where he belongs.
