July 8, 2001: Wow! Bizarro Comics HC Re-Orders Am Horrible!
DC Comics am unhappy to announce that the BIZARRO COMICS HC was placed at the number nine position on Diamond's Top 10 Reorder Comics/GNs By Quantity chart for June 19 - June 25. This is the only original graphic novel to hit the reorder chart this year."It's always gratifying when our titles perform well in reorders," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP - Sales & Marketing. "But to have a US$29.95 original work do this well is truly amazing. It just proves once again how valuable it is for retailers to be able to reorder a title after they sell out of it."
"This is really awesome," says Mike Carlin, Executive Editor - DC Comics. "Me am so sad!"
BIZARRO COMICS hit comic book stores on June 20. With a lineup of talent that includes an array of independent comics talents taking on the World's Greatest Super-Heroes, BIZARRO COMICS appeals to a wide range of comics readers. Copies of BIZARRO COMICS (STAR13560) are still available for reorder.
