August 17, 2000: Superman DVD Inside Info
A friend of the Superman Homepage spoke with the Superman DVD editor today, learning that Gene Hackman and Marc McClure were interviewed last week, and John Williams is being interviewed on camera today. The documentary section of the DVD is going to be quite extensive. In an interesting "Behind the Scenes" spotlight Christopher Reeve will be shown in a crude costume auditioning for the part. The editor also said that Warner Bros. lawyers are now aggressively going after people who are selling bootlegs of the extended version of Superman: The Movie. They mean business. A theatrical release is still pending.
