February 27, 2000: Superman Meets Matrix

The Hollywood Reporter claims that the "hit and miss" affair that has been the story of the big screen adaptation of Superman seems to have "hit" again, with the news that Oliver Stone (JFK) is interested in directing it.
The new script by Bill Wisher (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) has been approved by Warner Brothers. The Producer is Jon Peters, with the mail being that the film will have a darker, more Matrix feel to it than the previous Superman films.
