February 6, 2000: Porter Confirmed as "Adventures of Superman" Artist
A DC spokesperson has told Michael Doran (Newsarama) that following his departure from JLA later this year, artist Howard Porter will take over as regular penciler of Adventures of Superman. Before Porter gets going on AOS, he will pencil Mark Waid's first JLA story arc. Although it is unknown at this stage just which issue of AOS will be his first. Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary will begin as the new JLA art team upon Porter's departure.
