November 8, 1999: Superman Rumor On The Grapeline
Although DC has confirmed the addition of writer J.M. DeMatteis to the Adventures of Superman creative team following the upcoming departure of writer/artist Stuart Immonen and co-writer Mark Millar, the question of who will be DeMatteis' regular penciler remains unanswered.Rumors are circulating suggesting JLA artist Howard Porter could be lining up to join the AOS team as its regular penciler sometime in 2000, though exactly when I have not heard. If he does join the team, it will be without his JLA inker John Dell, who recently accepted a staff position with CrossGen Comics.
DC did not comment on the rumors...
