October 15, 1997: WB Pushes Back Superman Lives Pre-Production
DAILY VARIETY reports WARNER BROS. has pushed back pre-production on the Superman Lives film to late spring '98, with hopes of opening the film in 1999. The reason given is that the film's director, Tim Burton, and his writing team, need more time to write a screenplay.1997 Movie News
