New “Elseworlds” Banner Includes Superman and Lois Lane

The CW has released a new banner image for the upcoming “Elseworlds” 3-night crossover event.

The image not only depicts Stephen Amell as The Flash and Grant Gustin as Green Arrow, but The Monitor, Batwoman, Supergirl, Superman, Lois Lane and an alternate Superman are also included in the image, along with the supporting cast members from the shows.

The special 3-night “Elseworlds” crossover event will begin in “The Flash” on Sunday, December 9 at 8.00pm ET, and then continue in “Arrow” on Monday, December 10 at 8.00pm ET, and will conclude with “Supergirl” on Tuesday, December 11 at 8.00pm ET.

“Part One: The Flash” – Scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Sunday, December 9 at 8.00pm ET/PT.


When Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell) wake up one morning and realize they have swapped bodies with each other, the two set off to find out what disturbed the timeline to cause such a shift. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when they present their case to Team Flash and the gang doesn’t believe them. Barry and Oliver realize they need Supergirl’s (guest star Melissa Benoist) help and travel to Smallville on Earth-38 where they end up meeting Kara’s cousin, Clark Kent (guest star Tyler Hoechlin), and intrepid reporter, Lois Lane (guest star Elizabeth Tulloch). LaMonica Garrett guest stars as The Monitor.

Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Eric Wallace & Sam Chalsen.

“Part Two: Arrow” – Scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Monday, December 10 at 8.00pm ET/PT.


With Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) still stuck in the other’s bodies, the two get a lead on John Deegan (guest star Jeremy Davies) and head to Gotham City with Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) to figure out why their reality has changed. While there, they meet the mysterious Kate Kane (guest star Ruby Rose) who provides them with information that leads the group to Arkham Asylum.

James Bamford directed the episode with teleplay by Marc Guggenheim and story by Caroline Dries.

“Part Three: Supergirl” – Scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Tuesday, December 11 at 8.00pm ET/PT.


Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) engage in the battle of their lives.

Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Derek Simon & Robert Rovner.

I’m impressed. Nice banner CW.
I see that there is more than one version of Superman in this banner. A good version and a bad one as well. I don’t believe that the black suit version is a version of Kal-el but rather a villain who has taken his appearance and abilities.
I wonder if that’s Mettalo to the opposite end of the banner. And is Lois carrying hammer?

I don’t believe that’s Metallo. There’s no evidence of a Kryptonite heart. I’ve read some stuff which suggests this is Amazo. More here (possible spoilers):

(Excuse me ended up typing this in the wrong thread and can’t delete the post)Looking at the teaser again the character I was thinking looked like Dark Archer is more likely to be Hawkman.
