New Concept Art From Never-Made Superman Video Game

Concept art from a never-made Superman video game has been posted online by artist Joël Dos Reis Viegas via his personal website.

Joël Dos Reis Viegas is vice-president of Steambot, the Montreal-based creative agency who worked with Warner Bros. to create concept art for “Batman: Arkham Origins”.

While the image is listed in a gallery of images titled “Batman Games,” the image shows Superman flying over the city of Metropolis. A few years ago it was rumored that Warner Bros. Montreal were working on a Superman video game, however nothing ever eventuated.

me too brutha! i was reading up the other day on game concepts and someone expressed something similar to us. he got a reply to check out UNDEFEATED Hero Game Demo on youtube, so naturally i did as well. if this game were to ever see the time of day, use superman’s likeness and surroundings, villains, and have superman’s clothing, etc, it could be amazing.

I would hope that they could include some variations of Superman’s suit as well. Some from movies, tv series, and comics. Sort of like how in the Batman Arkham games players can pick the suit for Batman to play in. I’d like to see that done for Superman.

I haven’t played the game, but I did see some footage of it on YouTube. What game platform is it for? Is it for Xbox one? A Superman game made in that style could definitely sell I believe.

i haven’t played it either, just watched the demo. apparently it’s on steam…as far as i know it’s on pc and i read xbone too

I hope to visit a GameStop at some point to find out more about that game. Unfortunately until this virus ends, all the GameStop’s near me are closed.

If they could make a Superman game that had even half the love and care that was put into Spider-Man PS4 I’d be happy. Especially when it comes to the flying.
