“Nascent Nation” – Superman Fan Film Trailer

A new trailer for “Nascent Nation”, an upcoming Superman fan film by filmmaker Heath Gleason, has just been released online.

Nearly two decades after the disappearance of the Man of Steel, Kal-El returns to a post 9/11 America. Ridden with social and political division, Superman must re-unite Smallville after a controversial unrest erupts.

“Nascent Nation” is a fan-made, passionately created feature-length film about the Man of Steel and his impact on our morality. From the people that brought you “Marvel Knights: Spider-Man”, “Intractable and “Spider-Man: Lost Cause”, enter the compelling narrative of a small town in Kansas dealing with rapid change and conflict as they try to come to grips with our controversial reality.

i’m intrigued. i always enjoy a fan film, especially one done well. the acting looks good, and the plot is relevant. i look forward to this!

Two decades? And I thought five years was too long, haha!
Looks decent enough. I was worried that Superman was going to be shown just in the distance with a blurry camera, but it looks like he’s got real scenes and dialogue and everything, which I’m definitely glad to see.
